Here at Wood Wheaton, we have such a diverse group of people, but everyone still interacts and works together so well. I’m proud to be a part of a winning team who has just as much laughter and fun as success. The best piece of advice I’ve ever received is something that I remind myself of on a regular basis: “If you are stressing over anything, ask yourself – can I change it?” If the answer is yes, then change it and stop stressing. If the answer is no, then stop stressing, as it won’t matter anyhow! I think everyone should try to conquer whatever it is that scares them most, at least once in their life. By challenging yourself you will prove how much stronger you are than what you give yourself credit for. My favourite music artist of all time would have to be Gord Downey – never before had I seen a more impressive live performance! When I’m not hanging around the showroom, I like to go camping and exploring all this beautiful province of ours has to offer.
The best piece of advice I’ve received is to never claim a bad day. Take it with a grain of salt, learn from it, and move forward. Something I would think everyone should do once in their lives is to see and experience the Grand Canyon. My favourite quote that I do my best to live up to is “the purpose of knowledge is not education – it is action”.
The best piece of advice I’ve ever received is not to be afraid of taking chances – that being said, my life motto is “well, that didn’t go as planned”. But, you’d never have known the outcome without giving it a chance. Something I think everyone should be able to experience at least once in their life is a visit to a Disney park! If I could do a random act of kindness without worrying about the cost, I would take everyone I could with me to Disneyland. I’m proud to be part of the team here at Wood Wheaton because I value all we do for our community, and we don’t feel the need for publicity of all the good we’re doing.
I was born in Kamloops, B.C., and was raised in North Vancouver; I worked with the Vancouver Canucks as Ticket Manager before moving to Prince George in 1996 with my wife and then 6 month old son who is now 18. Since then, both my kids have graduated here in PG.
I have been with Wood Wheaton Honda since 2010, and when I’m not at work I enjoy playing golf with my son and watching my daughter dance.

If my life had a motto, it would be just “don’t worry, be happy”, and the best piece of advice I’ve ever received is to never fear change. The nicest thing someone in this community has done for me, was provide meals to my family for a month while my wife was recovering from a stroke. It was so courteous and really a big help – it would inspire me to do the same! If I could do a random act of kindness without worrying about the cost, I would support a family in need for a whole year. You really don’t see how far your help can go. If I could convince everyone in the world to do just one thing, it would be to be more accepting of each other – race, religion, and lifestyle aside. That being said, something that does make me laugh (other than Mr. Bean and other British humour) is the comedian Russell Peters and his comical take on different cultures. Without actually discriminating against anyone, he is able to bring light and humour to the things that make us different, but also what makes us all the same. I think everyone should travel to a country half way across the globe, just to be able to learn about and experience a different culture. I’m proud to be a part of the team here at Wood Wheaton, because regardless of who you are, we are a helping hand and a trusted partner who stands by their word.
Wood Wheaton is like Spiderman. Friendly, caring, and always there to help the community beyond auto repair and sales. I’m proud to be part of a corporate culture built on respect, trust and selflessness. Our management team is very supportive, continuously taking part in the learning and development of their employees. They’re not hesitant to share their experience and knowledge, which motivates us to take their advice and Excel in our respective duties. If my life had a motto, it would be to work hard, stay positive, and make it happen! The best piece of advice I’ve ever received was from my Dad – “Worrying is an insult to God. Always keep strong faith no matter the road ahead.
I’m proud to be part of a team here at Wood Wheaton that’s always trying to give back to our community. If I could convince everyone in the world of one thing, it would be to come to accept that everyone makes mistakes.
We are all people! That being said, my life motto is, “if there’s a will, there’s a way”. While we may not always have the outcome we expect, we can get things done right if we just give a little effort. The best piece of advice I’ve ever received is “don’t make your decisions with your wallet”. However, if money was no issue, I would love to provide housing for the less fortunate as a random act of kindness. Something I think everyone should try at least once in their life, is going out on a boat on a body of water by themselves at night, just to be able to kick back and take in the night sky at peace. My favourite band of all time is Korn, and if I had to choose what makes me laugh most it would probably be something found on Fail.com.
